  • meeting between priests of Bathirus and Khorne about the breaking of the Dark Seal

  • Crossing into Mycean side of the mountains we can see the coast far in the distance

  • While walking from the mountains to the foothills Luc senses he is being watch3ed

  • Luc can tell 500m up the mountain is a figure attempting to hide

  • Luc knows they can see us

  • Appears to be a cloaked man carrying a weapon

  • Jorgrim discretely looks back and sees he has a short sword at his waist and other pouches

  • Appears to be a rogue of some sort, maybe a brigand

  • Stealth away from him through the scrub

  • further up the actual road, we encounter a tree across the road and brigands trying to ambush us

  • Defeat group of brigands and scatter the remainder

  • Scavenge the camp and find 1450gp, and a number of folded letters

    • Some letters are communiques of some sort, the others are reports
    • All letters are written in thieves cant
    • First letter from 1 month ago, brigands are a member of the Fixers
      • Giving the team their orders to raid this area, likely a punishment for failing to meet quotas
    • Second letter 1 week ago, from a different group of Fixers; in the area but don’t interact
      • Asking if the group we encountered has heard from HQ, other group hasn’t heard for 3 week
    • Third letter to Fixers headquarters, group has a large amount of gold and wants to cash in
    • First report details the first week the Fixers have been here, gained 15gp
      • Have been doing some scouting of Azrea, people stay close to town and don’t stray far due to closeness of the Wildlands
    • Second report is second week, +35gp from robbing farms and a local tavern
      • Notes the strangeness of the lack of communication
    • Third report from third week, +1000gp from robbing caravan to Guzan
    • Fourth report from last week, +400gp from robbing nearby adventurer
      • The adventurer was a half-elf trying to hid in bushes, but was robbed while asleep
      • Also details a strange earthquake recently, lack of communication is an issue
  • Six hours after setting out we crest a hill and can see Azrea

    • Appears like a small town with a surrounding wall, capacity for 5000 people
    • Wall and buildings are made of the nearby stone from the mountains
    • Many smoke stacks indicate a large local industry
    • Many surrounding farms as close to the walls as possible
    • The main industry of the town is glassmaking, specialises in using the stone for very high-quality sand for the creation of glass
    • Also a lot of bread in the town, due to lots of mills in the town
    • A number of taverns in the town, and areas of interest
      • Market square, with shops for specialty goods
      • Branch of the bank of Mycea in the town, whose gold was robbed from the caravan
      • Three inns of varying price

      • George’s Gander - Middling
      • The Imperial - Highend
  • Go to the Mycean bank, and trade the 1000gp for a letter of recommendation and 150gp

  • Approach the Dancing Mare after hearing the robbed adventurer was staying there

  • See that the barkeep is a large portly man with a long beard

  • Approach the adventurer, throw him the coins and say “penny for your thoughts”

    • Takes his coins and is very thankful
    • Introduces himself as Tamarill Draydon
    • Introduces ourselves as Alzrarth and Oscar von Schmied
    • Says he acrued the money from a variety of missions down the Mycean Empire
    • Originally came from Draymora, but hasn’t returned home in a long time
    • Has a variety of belongings and garnishes that suggest he is a druid
    • 5’11”, green skin, level 7
    • Is apreciative of the offer to work in Schmied Mead
    • Many people are fearful of the recent earthquake, and think it was a volcanic eruption
    • Mentions the night before he was camping in the hills below the wildlands, and saw a giant beam of blue light shoot into the sky
  • Someone recentrly heard that something is happening in Aradonia

    • Someone suggests that it could be a second Arad Spring
    • Also overhear about the upcoming feast of Bathinalia
    • heard rumours that the feast in Constanbul will be massive
    • At the bar overhear a rumour that there is talk from a merchant that there is something going on about renegotiation of trade deals with Vermandois
  • Depart Azrea towards Guzan as fast as possible

  • As soon as we leave Azrea, we see many more people living in homseteads and the like

  • Luc’s passive perception picks up the distant sound of flapping wings

  • Luc scries it and sees it is a wyvern

  • There are significant delays on the road to Akchek due to travels for the festival

  • Jorgrim finds the seediest tavern around and looks for info about the Fixers - Howling Cleric

  • Luc seeds around the tavern and finds someone asking for a problem Fixer

  • Spending the night at the Craftsman’s Hammer

  • Kostas Cosmelis, master smith in Constanbul for magical items, in the guild quarter

  • Receive a note of referal to Kostas

  • After 3 hours of travel we arrive in Akchek, and it is absolutely packed with people

  • Overhear farmers on the way to Constanbul talking about the factions of the Mycean empire

  • The FFFFF, Federation of Farmers, Farriers, Fighters, Fiefs

  • Travel onwards to Theodes where the FFFFF runs things

  • A carriage of nobles is bemoaning their inability to contact their Fixer contacts

  • Akchek is where one of the headquarters of the Guild of Craftspeople is

  • Means almost every craftsperson is arriving in Akchek

  • While looking for a crew of sailors for the folding boat we see a Mycean navy ship approaches the dock and decants a bunch of sailors and passengers

  • The captain is on the dock and speaking to a woman, who might be a passenger?

  • Captain refers to the woman as El, and they are familiar

  • Captain Panos Siscatos of MNS Lady Luck

  • Happy to take us to Constanbul as they are already heading there and just restocking supplies

  • Pay the Captain 75gp for the speediest travel possible

  • Upon talking about our quest of utmost importance, the woman El approaches and listens in

  • Jorg notices a tall woman with grey hair, almost silver, young, something about her attire is vaguely familiar, Nat 20 gives styling on her clothes are familiar and Nordlandish in origin

  • There are parts of Norland where people are born with silver hair, folktales

  • El introduces herself as Eleftheria Gabrelli, a merchant from Nordland

  • Already takes a keen interest in Jorgrim as he is a silver Dragonkin

  • Travels from Nordland to Constanbul (East Eoris) to sell unusual wares

  • Says the HMMLMG is the number one business centre in the Empire and should be our goal

  • We can find her at the Coat of Arms, and she can assist with contacts or starting our business

  • She gives a business card to Jorgrim, Gabrelli’s Fine Wares, with the mailing address in Constanbul replaced with a town name in Nordland, Vanhatlo

  • Vanhatlo is relatively nearby town to the South-East of Jorgrim’s clan’s area

  • Very likely the clan’s goods have reached the town

  • Tam is absolutely smitten with El, and can’t say a word

  • On the ship we make amazing time with Jorgs great survival roll and nat 20 Luck roll

  • The ship has many cannons, and is a shallow water ship and extremely dangerous in combat

  • Luc and Jorg look over and inspect the cannons and gain a level of understanding of the making

  • We arrive at the bay of Constanbul, and the captain informs us we will arrive by the end of day

  • Captain seems to have a very positive opinion of metallic dragons and is very happy with me

  • He mentions off-handedly that the sea of Mycea is quite known for dragon-spotters as they are often seen flying voer the sea from Eberia to Eoris

  • The dragon-liking crewman (Boatswain) says there is a dragon inhabited area to the east of Theodes, often seen flying from the North-East to the South-West or vice-versa

  • he constantly mentions how big the dragons are, but once he mentions the reflections off his silver metallic scales

  • Jorgrim’s history knows that some dragons live in groups, and in some places there is a large concentration of dragons, but not much is known about the locations as dragons don’t interact very often with humans ever since the Age of Strife

  • Silver dragons are solitary, but yearly they have meetings with other silver dragons

  • Airships have been banned in the Mycean empire due to competition with the Seagoing traders

  • Fort Gregorios is the town just below of Constanbul on the island

  • A happy deal is struck with the HMMLMG and all documentation necessary is written up

  • Tam heads North towards Schmied Mead to be the head of Horticultural Science

  • Back at the coat of arms, we notice that El is in the building

  • She offers contacts in Azrea due to their glassmaking and can sort out a supply deal for anything requiring fancy bottles, i.e. wine and brandy

  • After chatting about business and the like, she asks why Jorg is a dragon

  • She accepts the reasoning that it is an affliction due to the closeness to the silver dragons of the mountain plateau

  • Says she went by her office in Constanbul city and as a token of goodwill she gives Jorg a gift, a small faceted stone of multiple colours, the Draconic Sensor

  • Having a long rest for the night to the 8th
