-
meeting between priests of Bathirus and Khorne about the breaking of the Dark Seal
-
Crossing into Mycean side of the mountains we can see the coast far in the distance
-
While walking from the mountains to the foothills Luc senses he is being watch3ed
-
Luc can tell 500m up the mountain is a figure attempting to hide
-
Luc knows they can see us
-
Appears to be a cloaked man carrying a weapon
-
Jorgrim discretely looks back and sees he has a short sword at his waist and other pouches
-
Appears to be a rogue of some sort, maybe a brigand
-
Stealth away from him through the scrub
-
further up the actual road, we encounter a tree across the road and brigands trying to ambush us
-
Defeat group of brigands and scatter the remainder
-
Scavenge the camp and find 1450gp, and a number of folded letters
- Some letters are communiques of some sort, the others are reports
- All letters are written in thieves cant
- First letter from 1 month ago, brigands are a member of the Fixers
- Giving the team their orders to raid this area, likely a punishment for failing to meet quotas
- Second letter 1 week ago, from a different group of Fixers; in the area but don’t interact
- Asking if the group we encountered has heard from HQ, other group hasn’t heard for 3 week
- Third letter to Fixers headquarters, group has a large amount of gold and wants to cash in
- First report details the first week the Fixers have been here, gained 15gp
- Have been doing some scouting of Azrea, people stay close to town and don’t stray far due to closeness of the Wildlands
- Second report is second week, +35gp from robbing farms and a local tavern
- Notes the strangeness of the lack of communication
- Third report from third week, +1000gp from robbing caravan to Guzan
- Fourth report from last week, +400gp from robbing nearby adventurer
- The adventurer was a half-elf trying to hid in bushes, but was robbed while asleep
- Also details a strange earthquake recently, lack of communication is an issue
-
Six hours after setting out we crest a hill and can see Azrea
- Appears like a small town with a surrounding wall, capacity for 5000 people
- Wall and buildings are made of the nearby stone from the mountains
- Many smoke stacks indicate a large local industry
- Many surrounding farms as close to the walls as possible
- The main industry of the town is glassmaking, specialises in using the stone for very high-quality sand for the creation of glass
- Also a lot of bread in the town, due to lots of mills in the town
- A number of taverns in the town, and areas of interest
- Market square, with shops for specialty goods
- Branch of the bank of Mycea in the town, whose gold was robbed from the caravan
- Three inns of varying price
- Dancing Mare - Cheap
- George’s Gander - Middling
- The Imperial - Highend
-
Go to the Mycean bank, and trade the 1000gp for a letter of recommendation and 150gp
-
Approach the Dancing Mare after hearing the robbed adventurer was staying there
-
See that the barkeep is a large portly man with a long beard
-
Approach the adventurer, throw him the coins and say “penny for your thoughts”
- Takes his coins and is very thankful
- Introduces himself as Tamarill Draydon
- Introduces ourselves as Alzrarth and Oscar von Schmied
- Says he acrued the money from a variety of missions down the Mycean Empire
- Originally came from Draymora, but hasn’t returned home in a long time
- Has a variety of belongings and garnishes that suggest he is a druid
- 5’11”, green skin, level 7
- Is apreciative of the offer to work in Schmied Mead
- Many people are fearful of the recent earthquake, and think it was a volcanic eruption
- Mentions the night before he was camping in the hills below the wildlands, and saw a giant beam of blue light shoot into the sky
-
Someone recentrly heard that something is happening in Aradonia
- Someone suggests that it could be a second Arad Spring
- Also overhear about the upcoming feast of Bathinalia
- heard rumours that the feast in Constanbul will be massive
- At the bar overhear a rumour that there is talk from a merchant that there is something going on about renegotiation of trade deals with Vermandois
-
Depart Azrea towards Guzan as fast as possible
-
As soon as we leave Azrea, we see many more people living in homseteads and the like
-
Luc’s passive perception picks up the distant sound of flapping wings
-
Luc scries it and sees it is a wyvern
-
BB returns from the grave and Viziers the cards
- Sun
- Star
- Moon
- The Fates
- Balance
- Vizier
- Idiot
- Throne
- Key
- Rogue
- Knight
- Euryale
- Talons
- Donjon
- Fool
- Gem
- Flames
- Ruin
- Skull
- Comet
- The Void
-
Jorgrim draws Moon and gets 3 wishes
-
Luc draws the Fates
-
BB draws the other 9 cards until Knight
- Loukas is BBs sworn enemy
-
B knows his key weapon is in a vault in Constanbul
- His item escapes the vault, and is making its way to him
-
Jorgrim absolutely obliterates a Wyvern and gains the Comet level up
-
Heading towards Guzan, we encounter the Mycean Ring Road
-
Jolly Jester tavern is the best place to go
-
Tavern is affiliated with and caters to the embers of His Majesties Most Royal Merchant Guild
-
hear rumours about reduced trade with Vermandois
-
There are significant delays on the road to Akchek due to travels for the festival
-
One merchant would love to visit the museum of Constanbul to see the painting Pax Mycea
-
Jorgrim finds the seediest tavern around and looks for info about the Fixers - Howling Cleric
-
Extremely suss in-keeper, Nikos Antoniadis
-
Luc seeds around the tavern and finds someone asking for a problem Fixer
-
Spending the night at the Craftsman’s Hammer
-
Kostas Cosmelis, master smith in Constanbul for magical items, in the guild quarter
-
Receive a note of referal to Kostas
-
After 3 hours of travel we arrive in Akchek, and it is absolutely packed with people
-
Overhear farmers on the way to Constanbul talking about the factions of the Mycean empire
-
The FFFFF, Federation of Farmers, Farriers, Fighters, Fiefs
-
Travel onwards to Theodes where the FFFFF runs things
-
A carriage of nobles is bemoaning their inability to contact their Fixer contacts
-
Akchek is where one of the headquarters of the Guild of Craftspeople is
-
Means almost every craftsperson is arriving in Akchek
-
While looking for a crew of sailors for the folding boat we see a Mycean navy ship approaches the dock and decants a bunch of sailors and passengers
-
The captain is on the dock and speaking to a woman, who might be a passenger?
-
Captain refers to the woman as El, and they are familiar
-
Captain Panos Siscatos of MNS Lady Luck
-
Happy to take us to Constanbul as they are already heading there and just restocking supplies
-
Pay the Captain 75gp for the speediest travel possible
-
Upon talking about our quest of utmost importance, the woman El approaches and listens in
-
Jorg notices a tall woman with grey hair, almost silver, young, something about her attire is vaguely familiar, Nat 20 gives styling on her clothes are familiar and Nordlandish in origin
-
There are parts of Norland where people are born with silver hair, folktales
-
El introduces herself as Eleftheria Gabrelli, a merchant from Nordland
-
Already takes a keen interest in Jorgrim as he is a silver Dragonkin
-
Travels from Nordland to Constanbul (East Eoris) to sell unusual wares
-
Says the HMMLMG is the number one business centre in the Empire and should be our goal
-
We can find her at the Coat of Arms, and she can assist with contacts or starting our business
-
She gives a business card to Jorgrim, Gabrelli’s Fine Wares, with the mailing address in Constanbul replaced with a town name in Nordland, Vanhatlo
-
Vanhatlo is relatively nearby town to the South-East of Jorgrim’s clan’s area
-
Very likely the clan’s goods have reached the town
-
Tam is absolutely smitten with El, and can’t say a word
-
On the ship we make amazing time with Jorgs great survival roll and nat 20 Luck roll
-
The ship has many cannons, and is a shallow water ship and extremely dangerous in combat
-
Luc and Jorg look over and inspect the cannons and gain a level of understanding of the making
-
We arrive at the bay of Constanbul, and the captain informs us we will arrive by the end of day
-
Captain seems to have a very positive opinion of metallic dragons and is very happy with me
-
He mentions off-handedly that the sea of Mycea is quite known for dragon-spotters as they are often seen flying voer the sea from Eberia to Eoris
-
The dragon-liking crewman (Boatswain) says there is a dragon inhabited area to the east of Theodes, often seen flying from the North-East to the South-West or vice-versa
-
he constantly mentions how big the dragons are, but once he mentions the reflections off his silver metallic scales
-
Jorgrim’s history knows that some dragons live in groups, and in some places there is a large concentration of dragons, but not much is known about the locations as dragons don’t interact very often with humans ever since the Age of Strife
-
Silver dragons are solitary, but yearly they have meetings with other silver dragons
-
Airships have been banned in the Mycean empire due to competition with the Seagoing traders
-
Fort Gregorios is the town just below of Constanbul on the island
-
Captain spent time in the Fort being educated in naval techniques
-
The city is ablaze with lights, windows, and small parties all scattered throughout the city
-
Th Mycean empire has 8million people, but in far less of a cohesive state
-
Constanbul has 350,000 people, and is about double the size of Neustrelitz
-
The boat docks and we alight at approx 7pm, and depart from El the merchant
-
The party heads towards the coat of arms on El’s recommendation as a good tavern/inn to stay at
-
We follow the increasingly better dressed people into the merchant district until we find the inn
-
Luc and Jorgrim head to the HMMLMG to found the Schmied Mead Empire
-
Luc re-registers the company at the HMMLMG instead of the Port Authority of Dwameath
-
Plans for Schmied Mead require 7350gp for phase 1
- Inclusive of farm expansion, planting, staff, and mercenaries
-
Upgraded plans for jumping to phase 2 in 3 months is 9115gp
- Inclusive of mercenaries, staff and farmworks
-
total spent on Schmied as of this point is 18150gp
- 100 guards have a wage of 7300gp
-
A happy deal is struck with the HMMLMG and all documentation necessary is written up
-
Schmied Mead Incorporated Distillers (SchMeID)
-
Tam heads North towards Schmied Mead to be the head of Horticultural Science
-
Back at the coat of arms, we notice that El is in the building
-
She offers contacts in Azrea due to their glassmaking and can sort out a supply deal for anything requiring fancy bottles, i.e. wine and brandy
-
After chatting about business and the like, she asks why Jorg is a dragon
-
She accepts the reasoning that it is an affliction due to the closeness to the silver dragons of the mountain plateau
-
Says she went by her office in Constanbul city and as a token of goodwill she gives Jorg a gift, a small faceted stone of multiple colours, the Draconic Sensor
-
Having a long rest for the night to the 8th
