  • BB learns his throne castle, Fort Tiny, is located in
  • Session starts on the 8th
    • Two days before the Feast of Bathinalia, and the Conclave
    • Waking from a nice long rest in Jorg’s Yurt
    • While preparing to leave, outside the Yurt is Bongus, Bingus’ Knight card summon
    • Sent by the temple of Khorne as they heard another membre of their flock has arrived
    • Sent as a messenger to inform about the meeting on the 10th, and to protect BB as he is a high level paladin of Khorne
  • Party splits, Luc and Bong go looking for Firearms
    • 30 mins later finds the store Thanis’ Firearms
    • Relatively small, but extremely specialised store for Firearms
    • Luc inquires about the price for a musket
      • Muskets are about 150gp
      • Bulk orders receive discounts
      • Buys 5 muskets for 600gp - 20% discount
      • Also buys 3 pistols for 225gp
  • BB and J go looking for Kostas in the guild quarter
    • Find Kostas’ workshop in the Guild quarter
    • Empty store manned by clerk Nikolaus at the front desk
    • Kostas only operates on request, and materials must be supplied by the client
    • His main client is the Altisian college of witchcraft and Wizardry
    • Kostas is a dwarf
    • BB provides 1000gp for Kostas to work on his armour
    • J provides 500gp for Kostas to combine the Wyvern stinger with his crossbow
  • J asks around for knowledge of the two black shapes in the inland sea
    • Find a staff member of the Constanbul uni
    • Dressed very nicely and dapper
    • Informs J that there is nothing in the Mycean Sea if they were actually creatures
    • If what we saw was correct, we saw something strange, but likely not an issue as the sea is regularly patrolled
  • J finds a store of useful equipment
    • Eyes of the Eagle/perception glasses +2

  • J says he has a problem to fix to a shopkeep
    • Brings out a few items while closing the shop

  • Luc uses truesight to look for strange sights
    • Sees a dwarf disguised as a human
    • Also sees a familiar face when walking through the Market
    • 200ft away he sees Gunther Schnell
    • Odd as he was scried in Chamrousse 2 days ago
    • Under true sight, his appearance shifts into someone wearing the outfit of the Fixers
    • After pulling him into an alley, Luc sees his eyes return from black to normal
    • Very alarmed of what is happening, likely some sort of remote viewing or control spell
    • Doesn’t know any magic
    • J only sees a Chamrousian man with illusion magic
    • Last thing Fixer remembers is him and his group of 7 people
    • Fixer operate in 7-man groups
    • Just finished completing a heist in Abragar, and returned to Constanbul
    • While returning to a safehouse, his vision went blank and he passed out
    • He thinks that it has been almost a month ago
    • Perhaps a geas?
    • He tells us where the secret entrance into the safehouse is
    • Assumes that he entered the safehouse before being controlled
    • There should be an agent in the safehouse who won’t open the door unless speaking the passphrase
    • “The fix has been fixed”, specific to only that safehouse
    • He thanks Luc for helping free him
  • L&J travel to the Fixer safehouse, and investigate the surroundings
    • No watchers were seen, and no magic was felt in the building
    • Luc fails a lockpick check and breaks the lock
    • J makes a distraction while L mage hands a shrunken Bong through the window
    • Bong mends the broken lock and unlocks the door
    • Inside the safehouse opened the secret door to a slim staircase down
    • The hidden basement has something magical around the corner
    • Divination magic is sensed inside the room
    • Luc enters while invisible to avoid potential scrying
    • There is a gold coin with scry actively being cast
    • Luc puts the coin into his handy haversack
  • L&J go to the temple of bathirus to find info about Aradon
    • J finds a priestly man who is in charge of the postal service
    • Asks about the aradon situation, as we are merchants heading there
    • There is currently some sort of pretty dire situation
    • Multiple reports of refugees fleeing cities in aradonian successor states
    • New reports suggest maybe an attack of some kind
    • Relations betweent ehs uccessor states has taken a sharp fall
    • Simply too much confusion in the incoming messages to understand whats happening
    • Some kind of conflict is causing this
    • Maybe either
      • a war has started internally or between successor states
      • Children of pennance are involved in something going on
        • A group claiming to be devot followers of Bathirus
        • Actually an anti magic non-state supported military group
        • Generally viewed as nothing more than mercenaries doing whatever they what
        • Only somewhat aligned with the church
        • Bsed in the east of Aradon and Lie
      • Potentially the Blight is expanding rapidly
      • Maybe civil order has broken down in Guilanyth due to a civil war
    • Until the church gets better info they cant provide clearer picture about what is happening
    • He mentions there is a meeting in a few days (the Conclave)
  • Travelling further to the HMMLMG, L&J ask about aradon again
    • They have some more info about the trade relationships
    • Draymora and Guilanyth have become much closer than previously
    • When the two states split from aradon, the states stayed separarte due to slight cultural differences but stayed aligned due to dislike of the aridonian empire
    • Was a detante between Draymora and Guilanyth, and Aradon
    • Lealin is cosying up to aradon, and may cause a split between North-South Aradonian sucessors
    • Southern Guilanyth and eastern Draymora says conflict is happening
      • Increases of ratmen from the blight
      • Conflict between groups within the countries
      • Merchants are saying that they think its more likely something to do with the Blight rather than internal conflict
      • Spurious rumours saying the Blight has expanded, and likely something big is happening
  • Go further South to a seedier bar, Ye Old Worm
    • The vibe is similar to the Howling Cleric
    • The barkeep suggests he can connect us to the Fixers
    • Barkeep says he doesn’t know the Fixers and is just a middleman
    • He can pass on a request, but doesn’t have anything himself, and he hasn’t heard recently
    • Everyone related to the Fixers in Constanbul thinks something out of order is happening
    • All Fixers have gone into hiding a month ago
    • Barkeep provides a letter directly from Fixers HQ for us to scry on
    • J, through the crystal orb, we see a man in Fixer garb except the cloak
      • He is sitting in a small office of some sort writing onto scrolls
      • The man is sitting very straight and writing very mechanically
      • Detect surface thoughts gives very little, not thinking about much
      • From thoughts the letter is written to a Fixer group relaying them to return to HQ
      • When they think of HQ, with deeper thoughts can detect the name of the HQ
        • HQ is based out of Gazyamble, scribe’s emotion is placid
        • They have absolutely no reaction to the deeper scrying
        • Luc gives J true sight, and J sees that there is no blackness to their eyes
    • Either dealing with a group causing the mind control, or an extremely strong individual
  • While having a rest at the Coat of Arms, Eleftheria returns
    • She says she just got word today about what might be occurring
    • Her connections in Callinell sent word by pidgeon, so info from last night
    • Reports of Civil strife are extrapolating from the refugees, but the Crown has been tight-lipped
    • There has been a large incursion from the Blight
    • She also helps start contact with a cannon crafter

    • He will die for the cause
  • Hear news that a heist occurred in the Museum of Constanbul today
    • Apparently no one can figure out how the item was stolen
    • Potentially a famous painting like Pax Mycea, or the main exhibit, The Holy Sword of Khorne Triumph
    • We both overhear say that the one on display is a replica and the real one is hidden
  • After entering the Yurt, the air shimmers in from of BB, and a red sword appears
