- The Party was tasked by the Commander of Fort Dranin with infiltrating Fort Valengueux to recover a squad of spies and all related intel
- ‘Dimension Door’ brought the party into the central keep
- Luc used ‘Detect Thoughts’ to locate the Commander of Fort Valengueux, and get troop intel
- The Commander of Fort Valengueux was killed, and posed as if poisoned
- Intel was retrieved, and letters made to sow discord between Wallonia and Vermandois
- All scouts were rescued from the dungeon, one scout killed by Mysterious Assassin
- All scouts and intel returned to Commander of Fort Dranin
- Rewarded intel about the Ziggurat of Gurpo as investigated by scouts
- Luc uses ‘Comprehend Languages’ and sees “Altar of the Lupin Lord” in Infernal

Delving Gurpo’s Domain
- The Party enters the Ziggurat of Gurpo, solves riddles, battles monsters, and loots items

- The Party journeyed from Fort Dranin to the Ziggurat of Gurpo following the scouts’ path
- Found a huge Ziggurat, at least twice the size of the Ziggurat of Shaidarahn
- A large mural depicting Gurpo was outside the entrance in a columned plaza
- It depicts an Elven Wizard casting visual magic in an upbeat and festive party atmosphere
- Each of the 10,000 stones in the mosaic is engraved with a name
- Each of the millions on bricks making up the Ziggurat is also engraved with a name
- The names are those sacrificed in the Festival of Rot, and those killed due to the fallout
- Luc casts ‘Comprehend Languages’, and solves the Infernal riddle about the Lupin Lord
- The Party clears the columned entrance room, where the transmutation effect detected by the scouts was revealed to be transformed and hidden column monsters
- In the next room The Party encounter a young green dragon called Alzrarth
- Luc casts ‘Charm Monster’ and befriends Alzrarth, who tells us Gurpo left earlier
- Taking the right path, The Party battles a 20ft stone statue
- After a the statue battle, they get stuck in a magic hallway trap with an engraved eye symbol
- Bingus Bongus solves the puzzle, and The Party have to escape by closing eyes and walking
- Find the Deck of Many Things, and Bingus Bongus draws a card with a scroll (Vizier)
- After solving a number puzzle, The Party rests in a lavish saferoom to recover
- After resting in safe room, The Party heads back through the second pathway from Alzrarth’s chamber, where Jorgrim solves the Basilisk and Warrior puzzle
- The Party then heads into a waterfilled chamber, and encounter the old nemesis, the Chuul
- During a perilous fight in reversed gravity, Jorgrim rescues a paralysed Bingus Bongus from its claws, and Luc ends the encounter as he boils its alive with his signature ‘Lightning Bolt’
- A secret room is found under the water, where gold, gems, and magic items are found trapped
- Jorgrim shoots a magic item off the table, but then stands on the magical rug and sets of a Fireball trap
- After surviving the trap, The Party identifies Gurpo’s Icebox and a Rod of Alertness, before resting in the now safe trap room, readying themselves for a deeper delve
